Weekly Practice Tip !
Keeping the beat is a constant challenge with new students. Always encourage students to count out loud when practicing or keep the beat with their feet while simultaneously playing the rhythm in the music. This can be quite difficult, but helps them internalize the beat for stronger, more consistent playing.
